Aletha Smith serves as a Senior Attorney at The Right Litigation Group, where she focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. With a strong background in litigation and client advocacy, Aletha brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to guiding clients through some of the most challenging legal and personal transitions in their lives.

Before joining The Right Litigation Group, Aletha founded and successfully managed her own solo practice, where she represented clients throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County in both contested litigation and negotiated settlements. Running her own firm allowed her to develop extensive hands-on experience in case strategy, courtroom advocacy, and client counseling. During this time, she handled a wide range of legal matters, including family law, business law, trademark protection, and estate planning. This diverse legal background enables her to approach family law cases with a broader perspective, recognizing the overlapping financial, business, and asset-related issues that often arise in complex family disputes.

Aletha earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and is admitted to practice in the State of California as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Her legal training and professional experience have shaped her ability to provide thoughtful, well-prepared advocacy while maintaining a strong commitment to professionalism and ethical practice.
